Congratulations on the approval.  When are you traveling?

Thanks, I hope you new application goes through quickly.  Not sure yet in departure, I think after April 22nd, I'd like to take a week off work to spend more time with family since I've been working full time while I waited but don't know if I will be able to.

I'm still waiting.  ???

Submitted the application online March 13th, mailed it March 14th, and they emailed to confirm they received it March 20th.

It was a priority application.

My confirmation email was the 15th. Still waiting too. I'm glad I asked because I've been feeling quite alone like I'm the only March person left. Over on the March 2017 thread there are about 5 or 6 other people around our dates too who haven't heard.

Sending out lots of vibes that we hear after the holiday.

There was so much buzz and excitement in Feb and now it's been so quiet. The office must've gone on an extended holiday. I hope they're back soon though. 😕

Lol - more like they are now processing probably 10 times as many applications as they were back in February... they've started taking applications from several
more countries in the last few weeks.

Hello! I originally submitted a settlement visa application in early January, but we had made a couple of mistakes in our documentation and received a refusal in early February. We decided to apply again rather than appeal and got a solicitor/attorney and made sure we had no errors and missing information for our second application which was mailed on the 3rd of March.

I think the timeline currently on the UK website (92% of applications processed within 30 days) gave us a false sense of security. I don't recall seeing the priority option, but I could have ignored it because I was pretty freaked out by having to spend the money to apply twice. Our timeline is below.

Met: 6 Jan 2016
UK Marriage Visitor Visa: Sept 2016
Married in NI: 30 Dec 2016
1st Application Sent: 10 Jan 2016
1st Application Decision Email: 7 Feb 2017
1st Application Decision Rec'd: 9 Feb 2017 (refused)
2nd Online Application: 27 Feb 2017
2nd Biometrics: 2 Mar 2017
2nd Sent application (non-priority): 3 Mar 2017
2nd Visa received at Sheffield: 6 Mar 2017
2nd Decision: TBD

Does anyone have a similar timeline? Or is there someone who submitted a non-priority application a little before us? I'm really hoping to hear back a little before 19 May as that is supposed to be our Belfast wedding reception.

That seems over-optimistic to me. (Don't panic. I may be wrong, and others here have more experience.) Someone who applied priority on March 18 got a decision on April 18. Bear in mind that a first refused application may well mean more scrutiny/processing time for a second application. But at least you got in before the April 5 rush before rates went up.

I guess, who knows? But I hope you hear soon.

Our late February non-priority applicants are still waiting for their visas.  I would hope non-priority applications that were submitted in Feb/Mar won't take more than 12 weeks but as Sheffield are processing for more countries now, it could be a bit longer.

Sit tight and keep busy.  You'll be together before you know it.
