Family friendly areas around Glasgow?
« on: January 17, 2017, 09:23:30 PM »
Posted this in parenting as well, but we may be making a move with 3 kids under 10 so that my husband can take a job in Glasgow (he's Scottish)-- He plans to ride the train in for work and we live in a suburb. Any advice on affordable location with good schools? Bonus points for somewhere we could drive to see inlaws in East Ayrshire easily.

Thank you!!!

We are looking into moving to Glasgow since my husband is Scottish and his family lives there.  The best schools are in the Newton Mearns area.  Also Bearsden north of the West End is nice.  If we move we plan to live in the West End because our daughter is a teenager and we want a more urban experience.  I also want to get by with having one car.
