Easiest way to move home with US Wife

I'm a legal resident in the US and I am married to a US Citizen wife. I've been working here for almost 3 years now in the same job, earning roughly 29,000 a year. I would like to move back to the UK with my wife, and I've heard this is a huge hassle these days with financial requirements, what would be the easiest way? Would I need to do the impossible, and try and get a job offer from abroad first?

Yes, you seem to qualify based on salary (minimum of £18,600), so that's fine, but you will need to get a job offer paying the minimum to start within 3 months of your proposed arrival date in the UK first.
