Cheez-its
« on: January 21, 2017, 03:02:02 PM »
If you're a sucker for cheez-its like me, the "hot and spicy" ones were £1 box today in Tesco! Reduced to clear from £3.50 so may be worth a look if anyone else likes these.

I only like the original cheese flavor, but my Tesco has stopped carrying them in favor of the Flamin' Hot ones. Now I have no source for my Cheez-It addiction, I am gutted!

So I've been mainlining Pringles instead. Seriously those things are damned addicting!

I got some of the hot & spicy ones this past weekend for £1 at Tesco too. Man, I wish they had regular ones though!

I don't mind the hot n spicy ones but think I would have preferred the regular ones myself. My husband did not like them at all!

My DH will eat them, but I feel bad, because I think my kids would give a lot for some real cheese cheez-its! Luckily we do get goldfish crackers from Amazon!

They are just normal goldfish. I get them off Amazon.co.uk though. We do the subscribe and save and I get 12 bags for £10. But I just checked and it doesn't look like they're still available, so I wonder if I only get them because I've had a standing S&S order for over a year? ()
I did see you can get the pizza flavored ones through Amazon.co.uk, but they are £5/bag which seems pricey. But for a treat maybe worth it?

Trying to find these things without the massive up-charge is literally the hardest/worst part. I once found oreo pie crust pack of 3 on amazon for literally over £100...it was obscene! I imagine it was just a one-off or an accident or something, but I couldn't help but laugh at how crazy it was! (and that wasn't even including shipping!)

Omg, I have seen this too. Yeah, I don't think so! Or, when you find something for a reasonable price on Amazon, but it is shipping from the US, so they want an extra £30 to ship! WRONG.

What I hate is when you go in an American store and they want like £5 for a box of reese's pieces and I want to say, you know you can get those at Poundland, right? Guess how much they are?!

lmao I'm so glad you've just validated my feelings! I thought I was going crazy! hahaha Every time I see things like Reese's Cups or something (not even specifically in American Sweet Shops!!) and they are at *least* a fiver, all I can think is "don't poundland do it for...a...pound...?" Glad it's not just me! But yeah, a bag that weighs a pound or less always ends up costing something ridiculous in shipping! It's almost like they don't want to be bothered to post it to the UK so they just do a massive mark up to avoid any of us actually wanting to purchase the products... What i do wish I could order from the US is coffee creamer! If I could get some decent flavoured coffee creamer, I would be beyond over the moon with happiness...

I get this one off Amazon UK on Subscribe & Save, as well. It's more than the US, but not *much* more. I used to get French Vanilla, but now they have Hazelnut. Maybe they switch flavors every once in awhile?

Powder, so it keeps. I take one to work, and have the rest at home.

Eeek :( I would just kill for some actual liquid coffee cream! When I visit the US it's only really for 2 weeks at a time once a year and it's not nearly long enough to enjoy all the flavours of creamer Stop & Shop or Market Basket has to offer me! hah

They have plain coffeemate at Costco in the little cups, but not the flavored kinds. Sigh.
