Hi everyone. I just joined this site on recommendation from a friend of mine. I am hoping to alleviate some anxiety and stress about moving abroad to be with my partner and doing it legally. Everything I am reading is overwhelming and kind of scary to be honest in the fact that I could be sent back or denied for one missing document. I am open to any suggestions on how to go about this legally and the least expensive. I am planning a trip in a couple of weeks to visit my partner.

Welcome. You've come to the right place. There's a wealth of information and people who can answer almost any question.  If you are worried about visas and immigration there's a whole board with incredibly helpful, knowledgeable folks willing to guide you through the process. Good luck!
