Passport photos for application

Hey guys! I'm currently in Vermont and both the local cvs and Walgreens are saying they don't do uk size passport photos. Will Sheffield accept American size ones or does anyone have a suggestion of some place else to try?

They will accept US sized ones.

Also, there are lots of online sites where you can upload a photo yourself and size it and then print it at CVS/Walgreens, wherever. If you google you can find them.

I got mine done at CVS and then cut them down to the UK specifications.  It worked out for this visa and the last!  There should be a template somewhere of how big the face should be within the frame, and whatnot.

The photo is just attached to your application as a reference in the file, so it doesn't matter if it's US or U.K. sized.  The photo used for the visa is the one taken at your biometrics appointment (so brush your hair for that).   

Walgreens can print passport photos to UK specifications (and several other countries' specs as well).

Thanks to KFDancer's comment, I went in to get US size photos but mentioned that it wasn't for a US passport when he kept going on at me about strands of hair covering my ears. He changed the country in the software, scaled the photo and cut it to UK size. So simple. Isn't it annoying how stores in the same chain can be different?
