Propane grill?
« on: February 17, 2017, 02:10:11 PM »
Coming over in June, but just got a new gas grill over here. New job is paying relocation. Can I bring the grill or will it be impossible to find propane (or perhaps the connections will be to different)?

They sell gas grills at places like B&Q these days and large garden centers. The refills run around £35 or so.

My nephew works at B&Q and said you could even have a new one for £35 and £19 for refill.

Does anyone know if the hookups are the same as on American grills?

We have a propane grill that came with our rental. It's not nearly as nice as the one we left back home but it does the job! The propane tank is HUGE and the connection was not what we were used to but my husband was able to figure it out with a quick Google search.

I think it's fairly easy to change the regulator to one that fits the available bottles.  The tube just clamps on with screwy clamps.

Would the converter be easier to find here or there?
