Hey, congratulations!! It must be such a relief. If you don't mind me asking, how did you escalate the case??
The call centre tells you they've 'escalated your case' when you call them. It doesnt seem to do anything at all.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Ugh that is so irritating. I've emailed twice with no reply, but maybe will try to call them.

Hello folks.

As you will see in my signature, we just received our decision email for a priority settlement application. I guess we are really an April timeline as it was delivered to Sheffield on March 31st. Anyway, I'm curious...is this about right for a priority or has that been ignored?

They have definitely treated your application as priority.

As Lyonaria said, it doesn't actually do anything.  All they'll do is respond that no decision has been made yet.  I get that it makes people feel as though they are doing something but just trust that things are exactly the same for everyone waiting.  Your application isn't taking longer or anything unusual. I know the process is awful.  We can all relate.

Nothing for me-I've written about my current experience on the Feb 28th non-priority thread. I think most of us had moved over there
