Has anyone used www.taxesforexpats.com for their UK/US taxes?

I am not aware that the company you mention is supervised in the UK. You might do better with a firm that is dually US/UK qualified.

They and a couple of similar online expat tax services firms are all worth contacting, then see which you like best from their responses. It's a niche and competitive area, online expat tax preparation, and the competition means they all rate well for quality and client experience. Good luck!

But it is a criminal offense in the UK to offer tax advice unless the provider is supervised for anti-money laundering purposes. A random online firm that claims to be in the United States might actually be in Russia or China or elsewhere and may not even be qualified to advise on both US and UK tax. Get a personal recommendation should you decide you need professional advice.
