FLR(M) renewal -- premium centre q+checklist
« on: March 16, 2017, 04:04:22 PM »
Hi guys, appointment on monday at the sheffield centre for my FLRM renewal! hoping it's all fine, intellectually I know we meet all the criteria but I still worry!

So a quick question regarding proof of living together. We have 6+ pieces of mail (a combo of individual/dual names). We have current and past rental agreements. We moved in May 2015 (7 months into my FLRM): do I need to include the lease from pre-May 2015, or only the next one (which is our current lease)?

I'll post a full checklist later. I *think* I have everything, except for passport pictures which I need to go take!
Sept '11: premium service same-day tier 4 visa granted in NYC
July '13: tier 4 visa - applied from boston
October '14: FLRM - applied priority in sheffield office
March '17: FLRM 2 - applied priority in sheffield office
Sept 2019: IRL, priority at Croydon, granted same day
October 2019: submitted naturalisation application
January 2020: citizenship approved!
March 2020: last citizenship ceremony before covid :-O

Ugh, had a whole response and my cat stepped on the delete button.

The best thing to do is draw a little chart.  Three columns:

First column                                ME                       PARTNER
March 2015 - June 2015
July 2015 - Oct 2015
Nov 2015 - Feb 2016
March 2016 - June 2016
July 2016 - Oct 2016
Nov 2016 - Feb 2017

Now make sure you have something for each of you (either individually or joint) for each bracket.  Try to have them spaced evenly (every 3/4 months instead of 2 months back-to-back.  If individual, try to have them from the same month or back-to-back.

Ha, I understand misbehaving cats. Got one climbing over me right now...

But was wondering in particular about leases? So do I need a copy of one from a previous address as well as the current one, or just the current one?

For the accommodation requirement, you just need your current, valid lease.

If you are using the previous lease as one of your 6 documents showing co-habitation, then you can include it, but if not, you don't need it.

WORK/PROOF OF INCOME QUESTION

My partner/sponsor makes above the threshold and has held his job, with salary above the threshold, for more than 6 months. We're applying category A.

When it comes to filling out the form, I've got his work info in there. It does say that either party has a job or has held a job in the past year to list it.
-I held a job for over a year (income above the threshold) until September 2016. In November 2016 I started a new job. In January 2017 I unexpectedly was laid off. I have a contract to start a new job in 2 weeks (after my visa appointment). Should I include any of my work info? Should I simply list it and not worry about paystubs since partner fulfills the criteria? I have pay stubs from both jobs (but not official/stamped from the first) and I have both P60s and P45s.

They only care about one of the incomes if one of you meet it.

Just leave yours blank and state "using sponsors earnings to meet requirement going forward" and leave the rest of your column blank. KFdancer has done this many times and we did it in January for our FLR(M). It went fine :)

I can tell you you don't need the photos of you guys. You're already married.

And they won't even look at any letters from anyone attesting your relationship. It's a tick box visa. You tick the boxes, you get the visa.

I sent a few extra pieces of mail myself. So I totally understand brining some. 😊

As Lyonaria said, don't bother with any letters from family members regarding your relationship... UKVI aren't even ALLOWED to consider them, so they will just be ignored (and possibly handed straight back to you before they process the visa).

The photos of you are not needed either, because they are only to show you've met each other in person... and since you will be both standing there in front of them at the appointment, they will be able to see for themselves that you have met.

Just in regards to your 6 pay stubs and 6 months of bank statements:

- the pay stubs must cover a full 6 months... if you are even 1 day short of 6 months, the visa could be refused, so you just want to make sure that the dates on the payslips cover the entire 6 months (i.e. that might mean sending 7 pay stubs instead of 6, depending on the dates each one covers)

- same goes with the bank statements... they have to cover a full 6 months, and must show the deposit of every single payslip you are including

Oh, just checking.

Is everything dated within 28 of your in person interview? The letter from the employer, the last bank statement, the last pay stub?

ksand-- so if I go back 6 months from the date of the interview, that's september 20th. i have pay stubs from september (end of) through february (end of) -- so that meets all the requirements, yeah?
the bank statement goes back that far to, to september 12 i think.

lyonaria -- yep, everything stamped in the last 28 days! that one i knew. thanks for checking/confirming it!

The payslips and bank statements you submit need to cover the full 6 months, so if your last statement and payslip are dated end Feb, then you need to cover end August to end Feb.

I'm assuming that as long as your September payslip covers Sept 1st to Sept 30th, you will be okay (since you will be showing evidence from Sept 1st to end Feb), but it could be worth taking your August payslip and bank statement as well, just in case (even if you can't get them stamped in time, it might be worth just having them with you anyway).

My only question would be what date does your latest bank statement go through?

Sept 20, 2016 to?  You have to have a full 6 months of bank statements that show all 6 deposits of the pay stubs you send. That's why the want the statements, to verify the deposits. ☺

oh nooooo. I'm not sure that I have the august bank statement. I have *all* pay stubs.

So the bank statements run from September 12th to March 10th.
Pay stubs are Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb, with the last dated within 28 days, so isn't that six months?
