Applying for Tier 2 (Intra-Company) Visa with 2 convictions
« on: March 26, 2017, 10:51:22 PM »
Hello,

About four years ago i was convicted of two Driving under the Influence offences. I was going through a hard time and since have corrected my life. I completed all penalties issued and finished my court order probation. I was fortunate enough to never serve any jail time for these convictions.

I understand that when I apply for my Tier 2 intra-company visa I will need to disclose all information regarding these convictions and that i am subject to a discretionary refusal of my application due to these offences.

Questions: What is the likelihood that my application is denied due to these offences? Also, I recently had both convictions expunged (conviction set aside and dismissed but records are not sealed). Do the expungements improve my chances of my visa being granted when the discretionary evaluation takes place?

Thanks!
