I feel like dontreply@ukvi is an ex that I didn't get closure from. I sometimes just open up the "your application is being prepared" email and read it again slowly for comfort.

This is not good for my sanity! Wish I could take a spa day but I'm sure I'll be dishing out the extra $$ to upgrade retroactively.

The visa process is a hell of a lot less painful than labor.   ;D

Shhhhhh!  The in-laws are pressing for grandkids.  This is not helping.

The in-laws can have grandkids when they're willing to gestate and birth them.

Hi All,
I am new to this forum, but appreciate it so much.
I am curious how many people are still waiting for visa applications from early April / late March?
My Priority Settlement Spousal Visa was delivered to Sheffield on March 28, but I never received an email confirmation. And I am still waiting.

I have tenants coming in this weekend and I will be staying with friends for the foreseeable future in New York (with my cat who will be travelling with me to London -ah the joy of international pet travel).

I am curious as to who else is waiting? as of right now i am about 38 business days in (including Bank Holidays in London) and am loosing my mind!

Did you write 'Settlement Priority Processing' in large letters on the outside of your package so it could be easily seen as soon as it arrived in Sheffield?

I did write that on the outside of my fedex box - everywhere! and i included my receipt for the priority service purchase with my application.

Im starting to worry that my application might be rejected...

Did you use another service instead of FedEx for your return? My solicitor (as well as other sites) says that UKVI no longer accepts FedEx for returns.

Yes, that's correct - UKVI had problems with using FedEx for return shipping so they no longer accept FedEx return labels. You can use UPS or DHL, but not FedEx.

If you purchase the pre-paid shipping option through VFS Global, it will be UPS shipping.

Today is 30 business days since my documents were received and acknowledged by Sheffield.  I can only hope it is gonna hit someone's desk today.  This is awful.

Hi Katoo,I feel you.
Did you use priority service? What day was your application received in Sheffield?

I purchased my return through VSF Global, so i am constantly checking the UPS site.

Yes, priority and shipping labels through vfs.  I do have a prior refusal, so I expected a bit of a delay, but I didn't expect it would take this long.

One of the non-priorities just got a decision email today, so it is moving, albeit a snail's pace.
Documents sent 10 April
Received: 13 April
Decision email: 22 May
Status: VISA APPROVED!
