I'm in the same boat! Jahewitt...when did they receive your docs? When did you get your email about missing info?

OPA-does that mean ours could be looked at this coming week?!

Thanks for starting this thread!

Hi!

Sent my docs: February 25
Package was marked delivered by DHS: March 2, 2017.

I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say, I surely thought I would have heard something back by now.

My documents were received March 6th. At this point our 2nd application has taken far longer than we had ever had dreamed and so much of our plans were scheduled prior to our 1st application. We have had to reschedule our honeymoon, which is inconvenient, but doable. What is worse is that if we don't hear back by early next week we will have to reschedule our UK wedding reception. We have guests flying in from several countries and I just kind of feel like an idiot at this point.

Really hard luck! Do your guests know about the possibility of rescheduling? Maybe if they have enough notice, they can have more options.

We've been working on informing the out of country guests. I don't think that many people can reschedule, my husband will make sure to show them around and take them on a bar crawl or something haha. I just will miss seeing some of those people!

We missed this our first time around too! We added that document and then got a denial because we also did not have certified bank statements (we submitted paystubs and tax records).

I sent plenty of bank statements , they aren't certified though. They are official from the bank printed at the bank, I sent a notarized statement from the bank of my balances

This confused me.  This isn't the "confirmation" email that you see on other people's timelines.

You get the confirmation email from UKVI sometime AFTER your package arrives in Sheffield.

When you hit the 'apply' button on the website for your application all it does is generate a GWF number and log your application in the system. Sheffield doesn't see anything from you until it receives the package in the post, which is why you can write on the print out if you need to make changes.

The timescale for the 60 work days 12 weeks doesn't start from your application date. It's after it arrives at Sheffield.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Then it sounds like some kind of glitch or mistake. You can't count a confirmation of arrival when your package hasn't even gotten there according to your courier.
