Oh my... I hope you feel better!

Honestly, my attorney handling the fiancé visa application told me that it would be at least 30 days and to not expect anything sooner.  So, while I want it sooner... I knew coming in this was going to feel like the longest wait of my adult life (which originally I thought was my first college acceptance letter followed by closing on my first home etc... lol) The "not knowing/waiting game" has put friction in the relationship because we both are quite tired of WhatsApp calls and virtual movie/date nights.

I tell myself two things everyday:
1) I now have one more day to visit someone I might not see for a long time or do one more uniquely stateside activity (in&out burger, Whataburger, Walmart strolling, etc)  ;)
2) That each day I wait will make the day I see my fiancé that much sweeter.

Some days it works... other days not so well.
Thanks Kriss
I feel better today but doctor asked me to have rest and don't be stressed but as u know this is impossible while I'm waiting for my visa
We all tired from whole this situation and WhatsApp plus video call not enough anymore
I really hope for u and whole may timeline to hear so soon because u all waiting for too long now

They should honor the priority part of the applications, as it states that the wait time isn't very long, but people in April have waited as long as some non priority applications on a fast month. Plus like I've said, if may priority applications are being processed before April, then those April applications aren't exactly on the top of the queue! The UKVI don't care though, because as far as their concerned, it's non refundable money that the applicant can't get back, and these people will get paid regardless. It's ridiculous having to spend over $8000 (in my case) just to live with our partners.

To be honest I was dying to come in this level too much headache for preparing the file and every time lawyer needs other papers so to finish whole this drama it's just woow for me
Now we need only the approval then we take long breathe and we can celebrate 😂

That's what I'm saying! I was under the belief that priority meant it gets processed before the others, but April seems to have been skipped quite a bit! I'm hoping they don't do the same with June's!

You're all really lucky you didn't apply in April! We had waiting times as long as 40+ business days. Average was around 30 business days or a bit shorter. Irony is that my wife and I rushed our application to get it in by April and miss (we thought) the summer rush. Looks like you summer folks will have much better luck. At least I hope so. :)

Ah, well! At least we avoided the price increase

Did we miss the grand name unveiling ceremony while we were busy packing and cleaning?

All this talk about summer rush makes me wonder if applying in June was a bad idea.

I think application numbers go up and processing times go up in the summer. But priority has always been a max of 5-6 weeks until this year
