I just realised I'm super late to this thread was looking for ideas since my husband has left me alone (with daughter) for five nights whilst he's on  an epic stag do. I don't have stamina for that lol.

She's literally my favourite. We just watched episode 8 where she's handing out cacti

At the start of the series, I didn't expect her character to do much.  I just thought she'd be a quirky accent here and there.  But she's a feature and I love her!

If we're ever forced to have AI in our homes and don't have an option to say no for whatever reason, I can only hope that we are allowed to choose what we want because I would hands down choose Janet. She's my kinda woman.

You just sold me on a smart home.   I never wanted one before, but if Janet could be the brains behind it, I'd be okay with that.

I'm so glad we're all on the same page with The Good Place hahaha

It's so entertaining. I haven't seen any new do a since season 2 episode 2 or 3.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

My daughter has been forcing the whole family to watch Once Upon a Time .  We’ve just started season 2 and I am sick to the back teeth. I can’t keep track of who’s who and what happened a long time ago.  Only 6 more seasons.

Lol - a family friend of ours (one of my brother's best friends from primary school) is in 3 episodes of season 3... that's the only reason I started watching the show in the first place :P.

I thought season 1 was done pretty well - it was well-paced and the backstories were quite interesting, but it went downhill after that. I managed to keep watching to the end of season 4 and then gave up.

That’s funny, what does he play?

I’ll agree with you, season one was tolerable and the story more or less made sense.  Ever since that purple cloud came around it’s all been downhill.

Exact same boat except I gave up in season 3 I think...lol

He played John Darling (so that's a hint for what fairytale characters are going to show up in season 3 :P).

Actually, just going to put a little plug here - his name is Matt Kane and he's currently in the process of raising money to direct/produce an independent movie. They have the green light to make it, but need to raise $40,000 by Oct 13th (Friday). They're at $38,056 at the moment, with 2 days left to meet the target... so if anyone is interested in supporting the project, here's the link:

There was also an article in my parents' local paper about him and the movie last week:

I have nudged their needle a bit.  This film is the sort of theme (the role of technology in society) that appeals to me, and the clips they showed looked like decent production quality.  I really hope it gets funded so I can watch it.  It reminds me of "Her" from a few years ago.

I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC
