Latest Shows You've Started?

I'm spoiling my kids rotten tonight, we are going to see Dispicable Me 3.  Even better, since we are no longer living under the tyranny of French Rules, eating dinner at Burger King.

The Burger King has this "Coke Freestyle " thing where you can choose all kinds of syrup and make funny drinks at the fountain.  You can create a drink on your smartphone with the app and share it with friends, then they can show thier phone to the drink machine and it will read the QR code to make your drink.  I'm so excited.  I've been sending drink recipes to my kids at school all day even though they are not supposed to get texts.  It's an emergency!

Just finished OITNB guys!

I know some of you weren't digging this season....but the last part of the last episode specifically....DAMN.

I watched the 5th series over a weekend, and really had to force myself to stick with it to the end.  But yes, the last episode was reallllly good!

I was SO happy to find the BKs are starting to put in the Coke machines like 5 Guys. It is cheaper than 5G and I love the nacho cheese sauce they have on one of their burgers. Also, it's like the only place in the UK where you can get Dr Pepper from a fountain!

Look at this- it's the text it sends out when you share a recipe

It even has a little pie chart for the ratios

Here's my official review:  What a load of crap .  They didn't have most of the syrups so you couldn't order anything interesting.  I tried coke lemon because they had nothing else and it tasted like lemony coke.

Even worse, I had to listen to a meth-head abuse some Asian guy because he wasn't making his decision fast enough.  SAD

I should say that by using QR codes, the coke machine downloaded my recipes, which was pretty fun.  I'm a sucker for an Internet gadget.

It's fun until you realise you didn't even get to enjoy the drink but somebody else may further down the line when they restock their syrups lol

Huh?  I don't think my recipes stayed on the machine after I left.  If that was the case, I would have named mine "Heywood Ja Blowme"

Literally would have been hilarious to go through a soda machine's "recipes" and seen that name LOL

At Starbucks, I always tell them my name is Heywood.  One day, somebody behind me will be in on the joke.

Jimbo I love that you're texting your kids the soda recipes!  I would say it qualifies as an emergency!   ;D

re: OITNB does anyone else wish they had skipped episodes 2-9 or even 10 and had a lot more past the last episode?  I didn't need the events of this season to go on as long as they did.  Maybe next season will be better.

I'm only on episode 3 of the new season of OITNB and am struggling to stay interested in it... I could barely tell you what happened in those 3 episodes :P.

My honest recommendation is to skip to episode 10 and read a recap of the ones you missed.  The middle ones are so so boring and we barely have any backstory episodes in this season.  But when stuff starts to actually happen it's a lot better.
