Financial requirement/savings/work question
« on: June 20, 2017, 07:00:35 PM »
Hi!

We are planning on applying for a fiance visa in the very near future. I have more than the required amount in my personal savings account. That being said, will my fiance have to show proof of income still? Also, what happens if my fiance isn't working or is in between jobs when we apply? And again, the financial requirements are still being met from savings. Thanks!

If you are using savings to meet the requirement, work is not relevant at all and no proof of income would be required.  Your fiance can be in or out of work, it makes no difference.  :)

Only thing is you'll want to ensure you have adequate savings (or income) for each subsequent visa application.   :)
