TURKEY items? (hot dogs, burgers...)
« on: June 22, 2017, 01:49:55 AM »
So I saw the thread about hot dogs and am definitely going to try and order from ocado to get some!! But when I was in the states I absolutely LOVED turkey hot dogs & turkey burgers. I've not had ANY luck whatsoever finding any of these items here :( Anyone else know where I could look or have had any luck themselves? Thanks.

You can buy turkey mince in supermarkets, so you can make your own burgers, but I have never seen a turkey hot dog here.

I hate turkey... so dry and flavourless, but... different strokes, eh?   :)

How about these?

They are chicken, but aren't turkeys just slightly bigger chickens?

I make turkey burgers at home with turkey mince.  I like it better than premade turkey burgers because I can control the seasoning :)

Agreed...ready-made burgers of any meat variety are just... WHY???
It's ridiculously easy to make your own, and you have control over the size, thickness, freshness and seasoning.

I make turkey burgers for lunches at home. I use mince turkey, feta, spinach and red onion. Mix all together and cook. Then I usually eat on top of spinach. It's really good!
