You don't need any of the following, so take them out:

Applicant
Diploma from the University of Nottingham
Diploma from Brandeis University
6 most recent bank statements

Sponsor
Council Tax bill
Picture of residence

Proof of relationship
Pictures of the time spent together along with family and friends (only 1-2 photos of just you and your fiance should be included - none with family or friends. They are only to prove you have met at least once in person)

Nope - most people either leave it blank or use it to complete previous questions where there wasn't enough room

_________________________________________________ _______________________

You are missing a few things as well.

Here's my suggested list of documents:

Applicant (US citizen)
- Printed online application form
- Completed VAF4a Appendix 2 form
- Stamped Biometrics Confirmation Sheet (when you have attended the biometrics appointment)
- 2 passport photos (they can be US size (2 inches by 2 inches) or UK size (45 mm by 35 mm, which is 1.77 inches by 1.38 inches))
- Your passport
- All of your previous passports
- Optional cover letter (no personal relationship information should be included)
- Proposed flight itinerary (optional)
- Receipt for priority processing (if paying for priority)
- Return shipping label

Sponsor (UK citizen)
- Certified copy of his UK passport photo page
- Sponsor letter of support for the visa, stating:
- how he is eligible to sponsor the visa (his UK citizenship),
- how he meets the financial requirement (which category and details of current employment),
- where you will live in the UK (accommodation details),
- a brief history of your relationship (no more than 1 paragraph, where/how you met, if you visited each other, when you got engaged and married, and why you are choosing to settle in the UK and not the US)

Accommodation
- his Land Registry document
- his latest original mortgage statement

Finances
Category A:
- 6 FULL months of original payslips showing at least £1,550 before tax on each payslip (must cover the FULL 6 months - if you're even a day short, the visa could be refused)
- 6 FULL months of original bank statements showing the deposit of every payslip (must cover the FULL 6 months - if you're even a day short, the visa could be refused)
- original letter from his current employer stating:
1) how long he has worked there,
2) his current salary,
3) how long he's been earning that current salary,
4) the type of employment

Optional but recommended as the guidance says they may ask for them:
- his original job contract
- his latest P60 (issued April 2017)

Relationship evidence (in order of importance)
- 1 or 2 photos of you together (no one else should be in the photos)
- boarding passes from trips to see each other
- any physical letters and cards sent to each other
- 1-2 pages screenshots of your email inbox/Skype call logs/Whatsapp messages showing a selection - subject line and date only - sent to each other through the course of your relationship. No message content should be included

Proof of intent to marry
- Email correspondence with the Bakewell Registry Office
- Receipts of engagement ring and wedding rings

What proof of co-habitation do you have, exactly? Were you both legally living in the same country? Do you have bills and leases in both names? If not, what are you including as your proof?

Ksand24... I know this is your standard response but you forgot to take out the IHS charge for fiance visa.
