Hi Folks,

I know that there has been a bit of discussion about whether to splinter off timelines from other countries in to separate threads, but I thought that I'd add to the conversation just incase it helps someone else....(I've been following the timeline threads for a while now and just reading them has helped me feel less alone).

I'm an Aussie and my husband is English. We met in 2015 while I was working in the UK on a Tier 5 visa. We married earlier this year and are currently enduring the long and anxious wait to hear the fate of our visa.

Priority Application from South Australia.
Online application: 13th July
Biometrics: 14th July
Received an email from Sheffield acknowledging the online application on 14th July.
Sheffield received supporting documents: 22nd July.
Decision: Pending
Visa: Pending

I've found it so helpful reading about others experiences and so wanted to contribute too.

Here's hoping to a speedy decision for everyone.
 :)

Welcome and thank you for joining.  It's really helpful to have as wide a sample as possible.  I'll put you in the main priority timeline    good luck!.  Matt

Thanks for clarifying.  :)  That email usually means that the decision has been made and they're ready to send your package back. Normally that happens right away but we have another member in a similar situation and she is still waiting too.
You could try re-sending your shipping info to the email address they gave you. Ask for confirmation this time.

Do not waste any more money on the paid email/call center. They can't help you.

I have sent them another email replying to the email with the courier receipt and prepaid shipping label. They never replied the first time so I hope they do this time. I basically asked them to clarify what was going on seeing as they should have everything they need. Thanks for the help

So I received the email from Sheffield on the 14th of June. I'm so sorry.

See what this process does to people  ::)  hahaha

So sorry to hear that. I'm next in line after you, at 55 business days :/ bit worried as well. My husband is with me now but he leaves on Saturday... hate having to see him off at the airport again.

Unfortunately your visa will not be processed quicker.  But hopefully July is processed as quickly as June.  Don't book flights until you have your visa in hand and have checked it for errors.

Fingers crossed! The Ministry of Defence purchased our tickets as part of the permanent change of duty station process. I'm just hoping they'll do it a second time if need be.

Your husband can always travel ahead of you if it does take longer. You don't have to travel with him. As long as the UKC arrives before or with the USC, it's fine.
Fingers crossed for you that you hear in time though!.  :)

well still nothing from them. They still haven't used the courier either. I don't know what to do at this point. They made a decision on July 6th and have had the courier info since July 12th. They arentbresponding to emails. I'm going to have to call them again and this time rip them a new one. My wife will miss her parents coming over and our close friends wedding on August 4th now
