Question about receipt of application email

On 7/18 I sent my priority application to Sheffield.  My UPS tracker showed it was delivered this morning.  I also received an email from from Sheffield which the first paragraph said:

"Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer".

Is this my official receipt letter?  The reason I ask is because most people mentioned that the email was received a few days after the UPS tracker said the package was received.  I just want to know when to start my count down.  Thanks!

Wasn't that really fast? I see most people posting a few days after their package arrived.

I got mine the next business day - UPS showed "delivered" on Friday afternoon, and I got the email on Monday morning.

I believe I got my email same day, its all dependant(like everything there!) on how busy they are. I believe people on here have said that last summer some people waited weeks for theirs!
