Instant access IRA
« on: August 15, 2017, 10:26:56 AM »
We will have proper read through here later, as there seems to be wealth of information.

Just wondering if people know of good IRA instant access accounts (so that it can count towards savings in FLR(M) application). Beth has to roll her 401K into account by end of September.

I have found a UK/ US savvy tax advisor. Do we need a financial advisor too who knows both systems? I feel ever so confused about it all - I understand so far that there is no clear tax agreement between US and UK and she (or is it we jointly?) will have to file tax returns in both countries. Will I get taxed by US on my (our) ISA and other savings, which are from being bought out of my previous house (and eventually for buying again) Can she have savings here? Sorry if these are obvious questions.
