Financial advisor recommendations
« on: August 27, 2017, 11:07:02 AM »
We need to find a financial advisor, London-based preferred. Do any UK/US couples have recommendations for someone who's used to people with accounts scattered across two countries? Or anyone to avoid? Thanks!

No, we haven't found an advisor yet.

Would be happy to compare notes with you. Can you IM or email me? I can share what I know.

Why not share here?  I'd love to know as well.

Not much headway made yet. A member pm-ed me when the question was revived that Maseco in London has worked for them.

https://masecoprivatewealth.com/

We have questions specific to our family but one that is probably relevant to many others is do other US citizens abroad max out their IRA contributions each year? Should USC be taking advantage of that (if you have one already) over additional tax-free NEST contributions? What's most efficient?
