Got the job!

Just got back from my job interview at Boots. I was offered a position during the interview! Go me!!

I'll be working in the photo department. Also yeah, as I used to be the head photo tech at Walgeens when they actually cared about having a photo department.  Lol

I start on Monday.

8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

Great news, I should have guessed about the photo thing since you post so many pics.  I don't mind, it keeps things interesting even if it is close ups of people's feet!  The backstory made up for it.

I didn't apply for the photo lab job. Lol. I applied as a customer advisor  (floor person) and she would have hired me for either as I've been cross trained in all Walgeens departments. She let me choose which department I wanted and I chose photo because it had more hours.

We are getting a new 18,750 sq ft flagship store in the mall. I'm super excited!! That is going to be a huge Boots!

My, how time flies....

* Married in the US and applied for first spousal visa August 2013
* Moved to the UK on said visa October 2013
* FLR(M) applied for  May 2016. Biometrics requested June 2016. Approval given July 2016.
* ILR applied for January 2019 (using priority processing). Approved February 2019.
* Citizenship applied for May  2019
* Citizenship approved on July 4th 2019
* Ceremony conducted on August 28th 2019

 Thanks all.

It was the job I wanted and ended up being the only job I interviewed for.

I'm really excited to start and it already feels very familiar.
