That's pretty advanced.  Are you going to deep fry them?

Corn dogs are off!  I forgot to buy a crucial ingredient.  Will report back when I make them.

But yes, will be fried in oil in the Dutch oven.

Plain hot dogs for dinner.  Delicious but I've been looking forward to trying these corn dogs for two weeks!

Yes, I know now that Shepard's Pie is lamb and Cottage Pie is beef, but growing up, beef made pie was called Shepard's Pie.   Never questioned it until I moved here.  But the British names make much more sense  ;)

Yes, Americans make their shepherd's pie with beef mince.

I'm making Chinese beef and broccoli with fried rice for dinner.

I've been hanging out on some Asian cooking Facebook groups. I told my husband I bought chicken feet to make chicken broth. He freaked out so I told him I was just kidding.

Good thing he doesn't really investigate the things I have in the fridge.

Christ, you’d better tell him before he sees it and calls the police. Those look just like thumbs.

Only the finest baby thumbs for my soup.

I already made the broth and discarded the evidence.  Lmfao

What's wrong with chicken feet? Nice meat and flavour there!

It's eewie.  Lol.

I've not been able to bring myself to eat them yet but they make fantastic broth. So nice and gelatinous.

When I worked at the Embassy Suites Hotel in California, I would always eat lunch with the housekeeping staff cause they had the nicest food.  Me and Jesus always fought over the chicken legs.

Chicken feet make the best broth! In a pinch wings work well too, but I'd rather bake them crispy and toss in Buffalo sauce

Mr is out tonight, so I picked up a Pie Minister pie to bung in the oven.

Wow... it's really nice!  Chilli con carne and cheese inside their lovely pastry.

I bought an overload of groceries last week, but still meant to top off our supplies halfway through my husband's week off this week.  Now it is Friday night and we had a tin of soup for lunch, and we're bodging together a marinated chicken chunks thing with sweet corn and skin-on mashed potatoes.  We don't know what we're eating tomorrow yet.  Situation is getting dire.  May need to leave the house.   :o

My 16-year-old daughter is veggie so she starts the grill for her veggies (eggplant, zucchini, peppers, corn, onions, squashes and sweet and regular potatoes) every Friday and Wednesday for her meals for the week. We made pizza with her veggies on said grill and it was very tasty. Who am I kidding? I had Montepulciano wine for dinner and one slice of pizza. I have no shame.

Ha I feel the same with us moving but it having an exact date I've been skimping on the grocery shops. Plus all my pots and pans are mostly packed so cooking is getting difficult.

I'm ashamed to say we've had tin soup, spaghetti, canned veggies and baked chicken one to many times in the past couple weeks.

Last night I actually made a real dinner and it was heaven. Roasted chicken, roasted veggies homemade mash and apple crumble for dessert. I also got my {picky} six y/o to try broccoli and come back for seconds.

I love grilled veggies! Plus wine.. you've had part of your daily servings for vegetables and fruit ;)
