Double Taxation Relief Manual
« on: September 11, 2017, 08:29:47 AM »
Am I reading Articles 17 and 19 correctly, the way I am reading is there is no taxation on US Social Security and Military Pensions unless one is resident and a national in the UK.

For clarity to the folks on the site are you a US Citizen residing in the UK with a US Military Pension and US SS?

I am a US citizen residing in the UK and my US SS will only be taxable in the UK.  I believe a US military pension is classed the same as a US government pension which means it is taxed only in the USA.

Hopefully one of the experts will be along soon to confirm or correct.
Dual USC/UKC living in the UK since May 2016
