WEP Reduction
« on: October 03, 2017, 06:24:17 PM »
I will be entitled to both US and UK state pensions. I understand that my US pension will be reduced because of WEP and the fact that I do not have 30 years of 'substantial earnings".

This:

http://www.federalretirement.net/wep.htm#Substantial_Earnings

says this:

<<The most your Social Security benefit  will be reduced with 20 or less years of substantial earnings in 2015 is $413.>>

Have I been spending all this time worrying about less than $10 per week?

That's the monthly reduction, not the annual:

I think that's per month not per annum.
