Yes please!  ;D

I just copied the format of the ILR one, and changed the headings.  I am not sure how many dates/details we want to track.  Also, not everybody will apply for their passport at the same time, so do we want to track that in this spreadsheet, or strictly the citizenship stuff?

This is what it looks like so far:

I wasn't sure whether to change KF's entry to green or not... I'm hoping it should be green now, but I appreciate her reasons for not counting those chickens yet.
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

No problem.  Is KF's the only application pending that we know of right now?

(I'm really just collecting data for my own use.  I'll be eligible in a few more months, so I want to know what I'm facing.  :)  )

I'm DEFINITELY not counting my chickens yet.

The online status thingy is now gone.  Looking at Immigration Boards, people are saying UKVI have shut if off due to so much inaccuracy.  We'll see if I get a ceremony invitation in the next couple of weeks.  Keeping it all at the back of my mind!

Neat trick.  I don't know how you do that!  Though, I guess it's not as all-consuming as worrying about a visa application, which decides whether we can even stay in the country.  A bit less pressure on this one.

To be fair, I wasn't the least bit anxious about my ILR application.  Or my previous FLR(M) application.  At this point, I know my stuff and know that if I tick the boxes, there's nothing to worry about.  I only did in person as I didn't want to potentially wait six months without my passport.

My biggest concern with citizenship is I wanted to be at pre-baby weight by the time I had my ceremony.  But I'm not actively working on doing so.  lol!  Due to being dairy and soya free and just a change in hormones, I am slowly losing the weight (a pound a week or so).  But I could get my butt in gear and lose it once and for all.  So that's my biggest concern - will I be fat in my citizenship ceremony photos or not?   ;D

Going into my FLR(M) applications, I didn't feel particularly nervous.  For the first one, I felt confident going into the appointment, but still felt overwhelmed with relief when I got the approval and we left that place.  So I must have felt stressed about it.  We did the second one by post.  During the 6 weeks that it was pending, I had one or two little pangs of "Oh!  Did I remember...?!" moments, and then my stuff came back from UKVI far sooner than I expected and I freaked out in that moment between receiving it from the postman/courier and actually opening it to find out I was approved.

For ILR, I also feel comfortable with it (though my husband's job status could be anything by the time my application date actually gets here, so I'm slightly worried about that).  But I also know I will feel immense relief when that is done.  Like, five years worth of relief.  :)

I envy you being there already. But I know your path has been a much longer ordeal, and you have definitely earned being done now.  And I know that I don't have that much longer to go.  So I am happy to celebrate your status without the least bit of side-eye.  ;)

Totally get it!  I have a few friends in real life who entered the UK well after me who have had citizenship for YEARS.  No exaggerating!  Hard to not give them the side eye.   ;)

I can imagine.  It's crazy to think how much money and paperwork you must have given to UKBA/UKVI over the years.  And you must laugh condescendingly when you see us new 5-year-route partners complaining about our paths, when you started your 5 years after already dealing with them for a number of years.  "Oh, you sweet children... you have no idea..."

BUT, my early years were all employer sponsored and I wasn’t out of pocket.  Every cloud!  And we had a “traditional” relationship with dating, then living together, etc.  No long distance.  So I try to keep my complaining to a minimum!

Oh, a traditional relationship does sound nice.  If I hadn't already known my husband's father for a decade, I don't know if we would be married today.  I was much more bold in my decision-making at the time, because the situation felt safe.  I knew his family.  I can't imagine how this would have gone if I'd met him completely out of the blue without anybody to vouch for him.  I wouldn't have felt as comfortable with our timeline going so fast.  But with the difficulties of long distance (transatlantic!) dating, I don't know how that would have worked out.

I got my ceremony invitation in the mail from Wokingham Council today.  Still awaiting the letter from the Home Office though!  Lol!

BUT they have a strict two guest rule for the ceremony and I want my little family to attend.  I called and it's a strict rule.  Baby in arms counts as a guest.  Boo.  The only way to have all four of us is to do a private ceremony.  Which is another £126 <sigh>.  Do I splurge and do it?
