Costume Ideas
« on: October 10, 2017, 11:49:35 AM »
Niece is throwing a "Friday the 13th" costume party at my In-laws house on Friday. I literally have NO clue of what to be. I know it has to be something on the spookier side (as that's what's done here), but I've just been soo busy with a lot on my plate lately that I haven't really had a chance to think and prepare anything and now my brain is just blank.... Any ideas that don't involved just splattering fake blood on myself wearing whatever?

The easier it is to execute (or, I guess, the more cost effective), the better.
My, how time flies....

* Married in the US and applied for first spousal visa August 2013
* Moved to the UK on said visa October 2013
* FLR(M) applied for  May 2016. Biometrics requested June 2016. Approval given July 2016.
* ILR applied for January 2019 (using priority processing). Approved February 2019.
* Citizenship applied for May  2019
* Citizenship approved on July 4th 2019
* Ceremony conducted on August 28th 2019

Bit late for your party, but Aldi have decent adult costumes for like a tenner.

Ended up just getting a basic (read : cheap) pirate costume on amazon (prime, for the win! as usual..). It was just easy and very re-usable.

I have a nephew who is obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean right now. It's Captain Jack Sparrow all the bloody time!  [smiley=laugh3.gif]
