It hasn't leaked before so I think the wind has blown the rain under a seal (or something).  We will get it sorted next week.  It won't damage anything before then.

I'm good we had a leak a long time ago. Had the whole roof sorted, front and back for piece of mind. Weekend of relentless rain, today was much quieter.

The leak is in the conservatory.  Got the men out today and we are going to have the roof replaced.  But they can't do it until January.  Hopefully we won't get much wind and rain before then.  It got to be done.

Is there someone else you could call for a second opinion before you get a whole new roof?
There are often stories of workmen painting the worst picture just to get more money than the job actually warrants.

And it's usually recommended to get two or three quotes for a big job in any case.

I would look around and get quotes from people, i wouldn't wait till the new year either - could end up getting alot worse and costing you even more money to repair it.
