Thanksgiving Dinner in Aberdeen
« on: October 19, 2017, 07:19:49 PM »
Hi all!

I'll be spending Thanksgiving with my boyfriend this year who is from Aberdeen. Any chance there are any places in Aberdeen that would serve an American Thanksgiving dinner? I wouldn't trust myself to cook it even if I was able to track down the necessary ingredients.

Thanks!

I've been invited to the Toby Carvery by an American friend for Thanksgiving.  Not sure if they are doing something special or the normal roast dinner thing they always serve is close enough.  I've never been to one of those all you can eat places before so I hesitate to recommend.

Seems like there would be something like that going on in Aberdeen, with all the oil company Americans there.  Not sure where you'd start looking, though.
