Anyone else getting random emails from home office ?

Last month and just today I have gotten emails from the home office saying they are still working on my application and will decide soon.

Uh ... I got my approval more than a year ago. Been living here for a while now.

Anyone else getting this ? Emails are addressed to “dear sir / madam “ and coming from Sheffield.VisaSection.

I haven't noticed anyone else reporting the same or similar. It's likely either to be a mistype of someone else's email address or some sort of random scam.

I've had a few emails for recent applications but none from that email address.  I say spam!
