NYC to London... hello grad school!
« on: November 11, 2017, 10:53:26 PM »
Hello hello!

I've been a quiet lurker here for a while, but very excited to announce today I got an unconditional offer from Goldsmiths UoL for a Masters!! I'm based in the NYC area right now. And I'm very happy that after 2 years of long-distance, I'll be reunited with my boyfriend who I met while studying abroad.  :)

Anything to recommend I do now in preparation for expat life?

Thanks :)

Met my now-husband on a year abroad in 2015
Married November 2019 and on 1st FLRM until June 2022

Congrats!  To prepare, rest up, eat all the things you enjoy in NYC that you can't find in London, and get ready to have a great adventure!

I'm actually making a list of NYC things I've always meant to do but never got around to.

And I already know I'm going to miss Mexican food...
