I received Amazon shipping notifications for my Christmas and from my kids and ex-husband. My kids sent an ice maker which arrived today and my ex-husband is sending a posh electric blanket!!

Yay!  We've been having margaritas the past few weeks with our Mexican Platter night.  Ole!
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

hahah sorry but I had to post this somewhere (and I'm not brave enough to post on Facebook just to be shredded to pieces by loved ones LOL)...just did one of those Facebook quizzes for "Why did Santa put you on the 'Naughty List'" and mine is way too accurate that it physically hurts my soul...LOL

My, how time flies....

* Married in the US and applied for first spousal visa August 2013
* Moved to the UK on said visa October 2013
* FLR(M) applied for  May 2016. Biometrics requested June 2016. Approval given July 2016.
* ILR applied for January 2019 (using priority processing). Approved February 2019.
* Citizenship applied for May  2019
* Citizenship approved on July 4th 2019
* Ceremony conducted on August 28th 2019

haha!  I think mine would be for having evil thoughts about destroying people while I pretend to like them.  (Nobody here, of course!  I mean people that I don't have a choice about interacting with!)

I stalked you on Facebook.  Now I'm trying to decide whether it would be rude to just send you a friend request, or if I should ask first.  Not that I do much on there, lately.
