ILR

It's finally time to start working on ILR!   

We entered the UK on March 28th 2013 so the earliest I can book an in-person appointment for is March 1st?

Going to try to get the booking out of the way as soon as I can.

I think you are right! But I cannot believe that time has come around so quickly for you! It seems like yesterday you were applying for FLR(M).  Ali the best with your preparations! I know you have everything under control.

I tried to make the booking today but the only days which are not too far ahead (over 45bd) and within 28 days are March 1st and 2nd so far. No availability. 

There are tons of spaces every day for about 10 days at the beginning of February then nothing at all from Feb 10th onwards.  Does that sound right?

Appointments are only made available 42 days in advance.

42 days from today is Feb 11th... so it shouldn’t be possible to make an appointment for later than Feb 10th yet.

Hmm, just saw on the site that it says 45 days now, not 42 days... though from what you said about the availability dates it still seems to be 42 days on the system.

Thanks ksand, maybe that's what it is. It says 45 business days in one place and 45 days in another.

 The dates potentially available (not greyed out) on the system stop at March 2nd, so grey from March 3rd onwards. Interestingly though, the dates from now up to and including Jan 29th are greyed out also. Then high availability for the next 10 days or so, then potentially available but no appoints appear when I click on the date for the rest of the days.

Here's where it says 45 business days.

You can choose an appointment up to 45 business days in the future.

I'm sure you're right though. Thank you, I'll stop worrying about availability now! 

Weird - so it could either be 42 days (11th Feb), 45 days (14th Feb) or 45 business days (5th Mar)!

It’s always been 42 days before, so I’m guessing the 45 days is new and they haven’t got it sorted property yet.

Larrabee the last two times I’ve booked appointments, they weren’t all available 42 days before (what it was at that time).  Additional dates opened for booking at random times (mostly Saturday appointments). It is UKVI after all!

Looking at the availability calendar today, there are appointments available through the 14th February, so 42 days!

Kind of makes a mockery of how we always say to check the .gov site for the correct information!
