Have you booked?

Nope, too soon! Our entry was March 28th. I'm on it too early because I was following the instructions on the .gov site!  ;D

Exactly!  ;D. And I realise it doesn't actually make a difference but I feel like I've been given more time to prepare! Right now, I am knee deep in correspondence....I know you know that feeling haha!  ;D

42 days before 28 days before March 28th is January 10th, right?  So you can book from next week, hopefully?  Almost there!
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

It's calendar days so not until February 14th I suspect.  Ahhh, Valentine's Day.   :)

My maths were slightly off.  I meant two weeks from today.  January 17th is 10 weeks before his entry of March 28th (28 days = 4 calendar weeks; 42 days = 6 calendar weeks).

Heehee! If someone didn't know what we were talking about, they'd think we were mad!  ;D

Going by what I can get on the calendar right now and extending it to suit my dates, I think it'll be the 17th/18th of Jan when the 1st of March will become available.

I have SO MUCH MAIL ... I'm going to keep a couple of things coming on paper just so that we have proof of address in the future should we need it but there is really no reason why I can't turn off the bulk of it now but I feel stupidly superstitious about doing that until it's all in the bag, so I won't just yet!  ;D

I'm afraid to breathe too deeply for fear of upsetting the universe!  I wouldn't dream of changing our post, or anything.  As it is, I'm both frustrated and relieved that my husband didn't immediately start working in the civil service job he was put on the reserve list for... changing jobs inside the six-month mark means a 12-month documentation.

Larrabee, you're "only" two months ahead of me, but I'm so envious right now!  And KF!  Finished!  It's 2018, now... this is our year!  I'm ready to just do this already!  heheheh

So exciting!  Yes, as larrabee asked, what time, so we can be thinking of you?

How many family/friends does the private ceremony let you include?  (You did opt for private in the end, right?)

2:30.  Yes, we've gone private.  I'll have my husband and kiddos there.  I could have up to 20.  Not my thing though.

Afterwards we are going to do an early dinner at the restaurant where my husband and I met.   [smiley=smitten.gif]  Husband doesn't know where we are going.  :)
