Drivers licence

Sorry another question,  i have my drivers license (CDN) i understand i can get my british license, there is a fee..I want to keep my Canadian version, it does not expire till 2023..is this possible.
Met in March, 2014 online through friends on FB
Engaged November 18,  2014
Applied for Marriage Vistor visa May 19, 2015
Visa Arrived in US may 27, 2015
Recieved  my  Marriage Visitor Visa June 15, 2015
Leaving June 23, 2015 maybe
Arrive June 24, 2015
Getting Married August 24,2015
Married august 24, 2015Firs time applied  FAIL
Switched dates Applied September 13, 2016
Email received October 19, 2016
Visa Issued Monday, October 3, 2016 at 17:51

You can only legally drive in the UK on your Canadian licence for the first 12 months of your residency.

As I believe your residency started on the date you first moved to the UK on your spousal visa (2016), you can no longer legally drive in the UK on your Canadian licence.

So, if you want to be able to drive in the U.K. you must exchange your Canadian licence for a U.K. licence:
