Hi all,
Just thought I'd share my experience at the Glasgow Premium Service Centre. Hopefully it helps some of you out!
Our appointment was at 9am but we got there at 8:30am. We left our umbrellas by the corner (the weather was LOVELY aka slushy rain and wind -_- ), had a quick airport style security check (seems obvious but EVERYTHING off, including those Fitbits!), and then walked into the sitting area with our bags. The sitting area has coffee (can't remember the price of one cup though), water, and two TV screens where you can track your application. We went to one of the desks to confirm our appointment time and sat down.
Right before 9am, we were issued a ticket number. Around 9am, we were called up to submit our application materials. Honestly, everyone there is SO friendly and nice. I was a bit nervous so when I was initially asked what I was applying for, I said "FLR(M) visa" in a quiet hesitant voice....but the officer was understanding and finished my sentence for me.
Our ticket number didn't show up on the screen, which made me panic, but I was called up for the biometrics relatively quickly. Nice and easy! Fingerprints and a picture. The officer joked about Trump and told me to "look miserable as if he'll be president forever." I was amused but a bit surprised!
At exactly 11am (two hours from our appointment time), another officer called us up and told us the visa was approved. I'm just waiting for my BRP now!
Oh and they didn't take my two passport photos, just one. Always good to have an extra just incase but if any of you forgot the second one, don't panic.
