Pa to Oxfordshire- hopefully!
« on: January 19, 2018, 04:29:41 PM »
Hi!
I'm Christina, the US citizen. I am getting all of my finances and documentation ready to apply (2nd time around.. I misread the financial requirements the first time) in mid February. I've been married to my UK husband for 14 years. I've been through the US immigration when we were first married. We now have 2 children (both have their UK passports) and we've made the decision to move back to his house in Oxfordshire. I'm very hopeful this time around.
Type of Application: Priority Settlement Spouse Visa
Online Application: 9 March, 2019  Philadelphia,US
Biometrics: 14 March 2019, Philadelphia
Application Mailed: 14 March 2019
Application Received in NY: 15 March 2019
Application Received in Sheffield: 19 March 2019
Decision email received: 16 April 2019
Passport received: 17 April 2019

We misunderstood the financial I go the first time too. You are so not alone.

Best of luck on your new application. Everyone here is awesome and we all pipe up when we know the info to help.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Welcome!

The timing for a UK visa is a bit up to chance.  Basically be ready to fly back and forth once or twice and you are good.
