Usually, people manage to book an appointment within maybe 2-4 days. The most I think I've seen recently has been 1 week's wait, so I imagine you'll be able to get one for one of your days off.
However, if you can't get an appointment on the day you want, they usually allow walk-ins on an earlier date, as long as you already have an appointment booked at that centre.
