DS-2029 Consular of Birth Abroad USA Travel Dates Question
« on: March 18, 2018, 12:11:18 PM »
Hi all,

Embassy appointment bright and early at 8:00 tomorrow.

There is only one thing we are stuck on. It asks for USA travel dates. What is my wife supposed to put in who lived in USA most of her life? Is she supposed to say everytime she left and came back, for instance a two day vacation to Canada when she was 14?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Honestly?

They aren't overly bothered.

I put all dates, as I didn't leave the USA until I was in my 20's so I knew all my travel info.

I know several people who have only listed since they moved to the UK.

Basically, they aren't bothered.   :P  Who knows why they ask!

Whatever you do, save the list to help with the next kids application!!

Thanks!

I think we're just going to note down times after the wife moved over!

How long does it take the passport to come?

They’ll tell you at the appointment what the current processing times are.

I can't remember if they are returned on the day or mailed back to you, but you will get it back.
