My biometrics arrived!! Application received by home office 15 March 2018.

The letter actually says I didn’t return my biometrics within 15 working days of the original letter so I now have an additional 10 days until my application is rejected. I wait for the mail every day so I know I never received the first letter...

Hallelujah!   ;D

I'm so sorry you had to go through that but I'm glad to know that they have this 'second chance' process in place!  :)

That's awful.  Such a shame they didn't respond to any of your letters or inquiries.

Things get lost in the mail.  No doubt.  I'm still awaiting my signed job contract/offer from the company that I started at two months ago.   ::)

Just went to the post office that the website said would take my biometrics and got told that the website is wrong and the closest location that has the ability to take them is 10 miles away. I don’t have access to a car and at this time of day a taxi will cost me a small fortune. Do I need to go to a post office nearest to me? I’ll be in London tomorrow and I’m assuming I’ll have more options to get it done in London l.

I also can’t get anyone on the phone at that location to confirm they do biometrics so I’m worried about paying for a taxi just to get told they don’t.

Unless it specifies on your letter, I would assume you just need to go to a Post Office that offers "Home Office Biometric Enrolment"... which should be listed on the Post Office website.

Looks like there are 10 branches in London that offer the service:

1. Trafalgar Square
24/28 William Iv Street, London, Greater London WC2N 4DL

2. High Holborn
181 High Holborn, London, Greater London WC1V 7RL

3. Broadway
1 Broadway, London, Greater London SW1H 0AX

4. London Bridge
19a Borough High Street, London, Greater London SE1 9SF

5. Old Street (205)
205 Old Street, London, Greater London EC1V 9QN

6. Camden High Street
114-120 Camden High Street, Camden Town, London, Greater London NW1 0RR

7. Houndsditch
11 White Kennet Street, London, Greater London E1 7BS

8. Brixton
242 Ferndale Road, Brixton, London, Greater London SW9 8FR

9. Kensington
208 - 212 Kensington High Street, London, Greater London W8 7RG

10. Clapham Common
161 - 163 Clapham High Street, London, Greater London SW4 7ST

Thank you! So it’s confirmed that the closest post office is in the town I was told. I have 2 hours until they close so maybe I can figure out a bus there. Can’t wait to buy a car already!

If the busses don’t work out it’s a relief to know I can do it in London tomorrow.

I am going to drive to the Dartford one tomorrow. If you live near South East of London, they collect there as well.

OMG I rolled out of bed and almost missed a package delivery which ended up being my visa package!! I’ve been approved!!

There’s nothing in my passport though, does the BRP act like my fiancé visa did in my passport?
