I took the theory test just recently and passed. If you learn the signs and rules in the Highway code it is fine. If you have been a driver before then the hazard test is common sense, beware and look out for children when coming up to a school etc etc.
Good luck.

Get the L theory test CD...helps and works..study it till you know it by heart...

I just passed my theory test..it is a right bugger to take...I recommend you take it orally as well..so you can listen to the questions as the reading it and translations of diffrent things as in.. Moterway/Highway.  is diffrent.

Good Luck

I also would suggest a CD program for the theory test.  I used one to study and passed with flying colours!  Besides, something interactive is a bit more interesting than reading a boring ole' book.

I bought the Highway Code and read it cover to cover 3 or 4 times.  Make sure you memorize the stopping distances and the speed limits.  If you really read the book it should not be too hard.  Besides it is alot cheaper to do it that way!!

I used the BSM book with all the m/c questions plus the Driving Test Success CD ROM and without them I would not have passed. Also read the Highway Code several times. I got 34/35 and 46/75. Not a great score for the HPT but I passed! Passed my test in May and am attempting the practical for the 2nd time in a few weeks  ;D

Get the CD and study that till you can do it in your sleep..the book is confusing...the DVLA website also had the hazard video ...basically anytime you change direction or go to step on break you click mouse.

Theory test took me 3 times.

trying to still work on booking my 2nd praticial test.

Here is a great website to help you! You can also take tests to see when you are ready....the site is
http://www.2pass.co.uk/practical.htm

Forgot to add that if you go to the top of that page you will see theory and a drop down menu for the Tests!!

All the best!!
