My non-priority return label was wrong so I sent that when asked.

I think I missed out the paper with the healthcare surcharge confirmation number, and my spouse's (sponsor's) passport copy. They will obviously need both those things.

Is it at all likely they will let me send those on now that a bunch of stuff got left out?

The application was received on March 8th so I'm expecting this to take forever and probably be refused. We spent the whole time worrying about the financial docs and missed out the basic stuff when we put it in the mail.

Ugh the healthcare surcharge number was on the application so we just forgot to include my spouse's biometrics page. Going totally crazy. Is it likely they will let us send that considering we also messed up the return label? I didn't see the no FedEx info and sent a fedex return label.

We obviously didn't find this thread or notice how useful this forum was till after we applied!

I'm supposed to start a PhD in September and don't know what to do if this gets rejected--we were planning to leave in July, which was well outside the 3 month window.

Have they been in contact to ask for any of this from you, or are you remembering now?

Try not to worry until you have something to worry about.  There's nothing you can do now that you've sent the package.  There's every chance they'll contact you for the missing information.  Absolute worst case scenario if you receive a refusal is you re-apply.  While time consuming and expensive, it's really not that bad.  Keep busy as it may be some time before you hear anything.  :)

So I sent a request for status again on Monday, received a response last night that they looked up the application and a decision had been made...of course I was like..yeah well, where is my decision e-mail from HO?  But today, I just received two e-mails indicating the decision has been made.  I'm now really nervous now.  Luckily for my husband he didn't have to call the MP, and today is literally the 12 week mark.

I'm guessing it will arrive by Monday or so since I hear it takes a few days as it has to go through customs.  The e-mail said they are returning the rest of my docs to my husband and sending me just the passport and outcome letter...which I'm wondering if that is standard. I worry that if I'm getting a passport and outcome letter that it could be a refusal and that all the docs went to my husband so that we can use them for a new submission x_X.  It's so hard to try and be positive about it.

Yippee!  Regardless of the outcome, you are going to know very soon.  If it is a refusal, you can address it and move forward.

I wouldn't read anything into the split return of documents.

As it's only Wednesday, I bet you have your passport on Friday.  Keep us posted!  Fingers crossed!

Approved!

I was at work, had my sister and my mom taking shifts watching the house to sign for it...my mom didnt even know when the guy arrrived bc they didnt even ring the doorbell.  I came home because I saw it was delivered in the tracking updates.  Since I didnt send my right courier stuff it came in a small black plastic bag, a royal mail envelope flipped inside out lol.  I found it on the door step.  Im like thats it? 12 weeks of waiting and for the cost I expected at least some confetti.

I freaked thinking they messed up the dates giving me one day to enter then remebered its day first month second.  I have until May 4th, 2017.

My husband is now complaining that his bachelor time is up and now has to wear pants around the house.

I am just so glad I didn't mess this up, I am a paralegal and my work was handing over immigration to me...would not have been able to live that one down.

Me too, thanks for the help.  I am sure if I had had the courage to reach out to UKVI sooner about those strange email I would have likely had a decision much sooner, though my husband just keeps telling me to let it go and that we will never know...I just wish I knew so I could hold it over his head for the rest of our marriage :D.

Thanks for the support and giving me reassurance on reaching out to them.  Everything happens for a reason, the delay is going to allow for me to celebrate my nieces bday and I was able to work more which helped me recoup the Visa fees, trying to see the positive.  I think it also let me get used to the idea of moving or something because so far my anxiety has been pretty low....I say this as I am up again at 4am, so maybe my subconscious does not agree. I think I got used to waking up to check for visa emails.
