Mine too, yay! Now I need to go buy a bottle of scotch bc I'm going to need liquid courage before I open it up at the end of the week  :-/

I opened it up quick like a bandaid after waiting until 730pm for it to arrive.

I know you had a previous refusal, so I can imagine your stress level right now. We've all got your back!!

Just out of curiousity, how did it come packaged to you? Was it neat and orderly?

Actually, I was quite surprised at how it came. Since it came from Sheffield the package itself was a little battered, but everything was in tact. It was a very small thin package, and my passport and ALL of my documents were sent back to me except the printed application,  appendix 2, screenshots, sponsor letter and employee/landlord letters. They sent back the things I'd photocopied and more. They even returned our marriage certificate, which I didn't think they would do.

I have all of our bank statements/payslips, tenancy agreement, our personal letters, our photos,  my passport photo, etc. It was all placed neatly in the package!

They also sent a letter saying it was approved, and instructions for my BRP Card. That letter must be given to the border agent along with the passport/vignette. So bring it with you!

Yes.  And you all have approvals.

Here's how I know...  you are all getting your decisions in the exact same (expected) window.

Refusals take more time.  So the fact that you are all getting your decisions exactly when expected, means they are approvals.

For the record, for my job I do forecasting (financials) but I'm all about trend analysis and stuff.  So I feel very confident that you are all going to be VERY happy bunnies come the weekend.  And sad bunnies as you realise you are REALLY leaving - permanently.  :D

Okay, this makes me hopeful! Because we are still pretty devastated from our refusal, neither of us are getting our hopes up too much. We aren't being negative, just cautiously optimistic and emotionally guarded  :P  So I haven't let myself start looking at flights, make plans, etc. I haven't even been able to tell my husband that we got the email yet bc he's been working all day and hasn't had a free moment! We are just going to keep it quiet until we see what the decision is. But this comment is definitely giving me a glimmer of hope  :D :D

Do you think ours will be denied if takes longer? From what you know, We did not do priority and our doing a spouse visa? I'm getting so stressed out that we haven't heard anything yet. We got the email saying it's being processed on April 30th.

I wouldn't worry.  Non-priority can take a very long time over the summer.

But honestly, I really don't know anything about your situation.  Remember, a UK visa is truly a tick box exercise.  Were you able to "tick each box" for the requirements and provide the required proof?  If so, then you have nothing to worry about!  :D
