I switched in country from a non-partner visa to FLR(M).

First and foremost - stop worrying.  You'll find the people on the day very friendly and helpful.

Only take in the required information, just keep the rest in your car (or bag if taking transport).  They truly only want the required info and not a load of extra things.

My tips:
1.  Do not use clips or post it notes as they may want them all removed anyways.
2.  Do not give a photo or correspondence outside of proof of living together as they are not necessary.  Just have them in case they ask (they'll never want a photo as a photo proves you've met and as you'll both be right there - they know you've met.   ;))
3.  At the door, they'll want to see your appointment confirmation - have that out.
4.  The first stop after security, they'll want to see your application (just that) and possibly your payment receipt.
5.  The next stop, they will want your photos, passports, and payment confirmation.  They may want the application as well.
6.  Then you'll have your photo and biometrics.  They will then take the entire package from you.
7.  Bring a book or ipad as you may have a long wait
8.  They'll hand you your approval letter and send you on your merry way

Hope that helps a bit.  Please do relax.  You are ready!

I don't feel like we are ready as I keep picking holes in our evidence and application. My mind is filled with what ifs....

You ARE ready :). But the more you pick holes, the more you will worry, and it'll be like a vicious circle.

It's a tick-box visa... and so as long as you have:
- the required  financial documents
- the required accommodation documents
- your 6 items of correspondence
the visa will be granted.

You know you have all those things, so you will be fine :). And they can't refuse on silly little things, so there's no point in picking them apart, because it won't have any bearing on the application anyway :).

I bet anything that by the end of tomorrow, you'll be wondering what all the fuss was about :).

Well my husband is pretty confident in our application but there are some small discrepencies that are worrying me:

When I first moved to the UK, we weren't so great at switching our bills over from paperless. (I wasn't even thinking that we'd get married or that any of this would happen). So we had to order some backdated bills to cover a small time period.

Most of what we have is in single names so instead of 12 items we are giving 16 because we had to space things closer together.

Also, his employer letter isn't on headed paper because Tesco doesn't use it anymore. Instead they use an official company stamp.

Absolutely none of this concerns me.  ;D  Try to not let it concern you.

Looking forward to the GOOD NEWS tomorrow!  Chill a bottle of bubbles, because you are going to be celebrating!

I love how everyone here and around me keep saying everything will be fine lol I still don't believe it will be until I have a decision.

Do you think I should mention these discrepancies in our application at all?

Nope.  I really don't.  Remember, you will BE there.  There won't be any surprises.  They aren't going to say, "You are refused" and escort you out of the building.  If they have ANY questions, they will ask.  PROMISE!

Nope. Don't complicate things for yourself.

Just hand over the documents and wait for a decision. If they need to clarify anything with you, they will.

Hey everyone,

Thought I'd give you all an update, we were approved at our PSC appointment! They asked us no questions and were perfectly happy with the old form. It only took an hour!  ;D ;D

Thank you to everyone here who offered their support and guidance, I don't know what I would've done if this forum didn't exist.

Knew it would be a piece of cake :). An hour is really good too, since I know some people have ended up waiting for several hours :).

Congratulations, and thank you for posting follow-up. In the same situation re: old form and was having a panic until I saw this.

If you don't mind me asking, was this the PSC in Croydon? Or elsewhere?
