Best: Immersing yourself in a new country, learning to live in a new culture

Worst: Homesickness, stages of culture shock and adjustment, not always easy

Well I've only met one Expat...

Best: you get to meet someone in person that you've chatted with and hopefully make a great new friend

Worst: you meet a new friend that lives halfway around the world so don't see them much! or it could be that you meet a freak and want to run and hide  :o ;D

Best: Possibly a better education than pubic schools. Maybe.

Worst: Sheltered educational and social experience, lack of diversity, elitist

(I went to private school for one year and I hated it.  :P)
