The Lunch Thread
« on: March 01, 2006, 06:54:06 AM »
A companion thread to the award-winning What's For Tea At Your House Tonight? thread!  :)

I've started this one because my new work schedule means im no longer home at tea-time, so can't participate in the other thread.  :(

So... whether you call it lunch or dinner or something else... what did you have for your mid-day meal?

Yesterday:

Lentil & bacon soup with croutons, and a handful of sweets my friend was desperately trying to get rid of before the start of Lent!

Mine will be 'school food' during the school year...but some of it is good.

Yesterday I had a salad with tuna mayo, a banana and a veg that I'm blanking on.

LOL!  We are food crazy on here, aren't we? ;D

I'm afraid I won't be much good on this thread -- I usually just pick for lunch.  A bit of cheese, a bit of fruit -- sometimes a sandwich.  It's not very inspiring. :-\\\\  I have been thinking about baking more since I'm at home right now...maybe I could post if I made cookies or 'Grandma's Cinnamon Rolls' on a particular day? :)
