Encouraging to see some a few days ahead of me getting emails or at least responses! Hopefully we will start to see others rolling in soon!!

Agreed!!  And yours was just about a week ahead of mine!  Hopefully we're all looking at the home stretch!!

Thanks @larabee and @KFdancer
I do know that I can't apply for my visa until we have done all of the things (married/biometrics)  I was hopeful with all of the quick turnarounds, but I see as we get further into the year how it can slow down.
We were originally going to apply for fiance visa, but figured it would be less hassle and wait if he just came here to get married and then applied for the spousal visa.
Thanks for the reply ;)

I think you're doing the right thing. The fiance visa would take just as long to process as the spouse visa will and you are cutting out a whole visa application with all the associated cost and worry!  :)

Greetings to all....from the UK!!! FINALLY!!! What a tiring trip, but very smooth entry. When my decision package came back, my passport with the wonderful vignette sticker was open right on top of the letter from UKVI telling me that my application was successful. Again, I can't possibly thank everyone enough for the help and support through a very stressful ordeal. Good luck to everyone waiting...it is so hard and stressful but amazing when you can finally be with your loved ones and home!

Do you think asking for a meeting or calling the MP before the 12 week deadline is a good idea? Or do you feel like I should wait till after the 12th week since that is the time frame they give?

The now over 60 days seems like forever to us, but I don't want to annoy them!

The border entry was the easiest and friendliest I have had! They just told me to be a good boy so I could stay! I had all paperwork with me and ready, but my passport with the entry sticker and the letter from UKVI was all that I had to present.
When we were waiting and having difficulties with Sheffield, Nicola contacted her local MP and they immediately contacted UKVI and got information as well as I believe got things
rolling for us. Nicola was in regular phone contact with their office, and never had a face to face meeting but they were wonderful.

Because you had the weird confusion with the extra paperwork and such, I would go on and have your partner contact their MP.  It's actually similar to Rick Stephens story, only they knew exactly what account the issue was with.  Their MP was able to help relay the information between Sheffield and themselves, so that they were able to be 100% certain Sheffield had what they needed to approve the visa.

So yes, I'd have your partner call now and not wait until 12 weeks has passed.  :)

If you hadn't heard anything yet, I'd recommend you wait.
