Online application

I have saved my application a lot and finally got to the part where you book your biometrics appointment then I clicked to save it, because I wasn't sure as to which date just yet.

But when I go back into my application to finalise a date, it takes me back to the end of my application where it asks for additional information.

If I continue, and type my name on the signature part, will I get charged twice?

I'm confused - I thought you couldn't access the biometric appointment section until after you had submitted and paid for the application?

I may be wrong as I haven't done an application myself before, but from reading other peoples' accounts here on the forum I thought that biometrics part came after the final application submission and payment (which means that it's not possible to go back and save it for later by that stage).

My application wasn't like that. It hasn't asked me to pay just yet. It had me confirm my shipping method, and I chose travel agent and it said it was $995. I clicked continue and it said to pick which state you wanted to have your biometrics taken.

I'm guessing I pay and print all of this after I pick a date and time for my biometrics?
